Chefs Cycle +
No Kid Hungry
May 22, 2017 • By Seamus Mullen
A few years ago, a small group of us, all chefs and cyclists, decided to combine our love for food and the bicycle with our commitment to ending childhood hunger in America. My good friend Billy Shore, the founder of No Kid Hungry, is right when he says that this is a solvable problem. So each year a growing number of chefs put their pedals with their mouths are for Chefs Cycle and ride 300 miles in three days to get us closer to that goal.
I was honored and humbled this past week to ride with such a tremendously talented, caring and dedicated group of friends and colleagues as we pedaled our way to feeding the future generation of Americans.
