Two years ago I hooked up with my friends from Men’s Journal and Sperry Top Sider and we spent a week riding BMW F800GS motorcycles through some of my favorite off-the-beaten-path spots in Baja California, Mexico.

Baja is really an undiscovered gem full of surprises—from incredible vineyards to state-of-the-art, sustainable seafood aquaculture. And while the week ended with me crashing and breaking my foot on the last day, it was still a magical journey.
